In Speed and Politics, Paul Virilio introduces the concept of dromology, arguing that we live in an era governed by speed. Many issues are no longer determined by where they occur, but by how fast they happen. Information, logistics, capital, and decision-making are continuously accelerated; delay is treated as error, and pause as failure. Under these conditions, space no longer holds lived experience, but becomes a set of parameters to be calculated and managed. Risk and "accidents" no longer appear as sudden breakdowns, but are quietly absorbed as part of systemic operation. Judgement becomes rushed, responsibility blurred, and thinking itself turns into something that never quite has time to occur.
This exhibition focuses on how artistic practices respond to a temporality centred on immediacy. It asks how speed reshapes perception, action, and responsibility - and how we might begin to reflect on a reality we are already inside, but have not yet had time to understand.
